A stripped-down version of “Can’t Shut Up” opens the EP. Formed while founding members Chad Graham and Alan Powell were both living in Los Angeles, California, Christian pop band Anthem Lights began as a solo project for Graham in 2007. Get ready to laugh and sing with the new animated series A Show About Anthem Lights, premiering exclusively on Pure Flix on January 12, 2022. And though the band has swapped electric guitars for acoustic ones, Anthem Lights: The Acoustic Sessions EP plays with all the polished production of their prior recordings. It was pleading requests from their legion of fans (known as “lightbulbs”) that inspired Anthem Lights to record acoustic versions of fan favorites from the CCM quartet’s eponymous 2011 debut album.
